I drew with graphite and added minimal watercolor onto paper that I had made by hand out of flax, linen and gampi fibers. I did not work from a model, but rather from an intuitive sense of the body.

The small size of the collages, which measure approximately 8" x 11", added to the intimacy of the images. Some of the images began with Cycladic figures, circa 5000 B.C.E. but these cannonical forms quickly gave way to a more fluid depiction of the body.
